Single Storey Rear Extension - Full Refurbishment

We were absolutely dreading the thought of hiring the ‘wrong’ building company because you hear such horror stories, but we needn't have been concerned with Cosgrove Builders! 

We received several quotes from local builders and although Lawrence was not the absolute cheapest, he is without doubt the most professional, experienced, and knowledgeable builder you could work with in our opinion. We have never regretted paying that little bit more. 

Our work included an extension to our kitchen/dining room, as well as extensive works to our 1960’s house such as ceiling replacements, loft insulation works, boiler replacement and full decoration throughout the whole house. 

We were actually working away from Cardiff during the majority of the build which could have been really stressful. However, Lawrence’s excellent communication skills, trust worthiness, care and diligence made the whole process as stress-free as possible. 

Lawrence and all of the trades have been extremely reliable, punctual, hard-working, clean and tidy throughout the job. Our next door neighbours were extremely impressed and said that throughout the job, they would never know the extent of the work we were having done for the lack of any noise or mess, praise indeed! 

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cosgrove Builders, and we wouldn’t look to anyone else if we needed any other works done. Thanks so much again Lawrence, we are so happy with the work you have done

Two Storey Rear Extension - Extensive Internal Renovations Throughout

Steve price, architect, suggested Lawrence as builder for our Pontcanna renovation. We were so pleased he did. 

Lawrence was easy to work with and exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled at what he does. He had a good team of tradesmen supporting him, who clearly respected him, and the end result has been a timely, clean and perfect result. We are so pleased with our home which required some vision at the outset. Lawrence is a perfectionist and insists on a clean and tidy site. He was good at managing owner nerves and making and suggesting reasonable adjustments as the build progressed. He stuck to time scales and never disappeared “ on other jobs”. Should we embark on another build we would be prepared to wait for Lawrence to be available to do it for us.
